Finance Project Manager

Overview

CGS is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. This role is full-time and based in New York, NY. The base pay range is $74,741.33/yr - $96,096.00/yr.

• The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Performs and oversees financial and procurement services.
• The Project Manager will have frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Overseeing a small team of financial analysts.
• Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time.
• Trains staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
• Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet/server-based databases and other applications.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Must have an undergraduate degree. Law degree desirable.
