Vice President / Market Leader - Investor Relations and Financial Communications Consultancy (NEW YORK, USA)

Lead the business in New York for a leading international investor relations and strategic communications advisory firm.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead P&L responsibilities and advance the firm's Investor Relations and Financial Communications offering alongside its other advisory practices.
• Lead client development and new business initiatives for listed and non-listed companies.
• Provide cross-border communications and transaction advisory (China - US / US - China).
• Serve as day-to-day contact for some of the firm's largest clients in local and regional markets.
• Build and manage team leaders on client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Advise clients on critical issues, brand reputation and challenging financial situations.
• Create innovative communication strategies and plans to drive client business growth.
• Develop and manage the firm's media relations and media database.

About the Candidate:

• University degree in Public Relations, Media Studies or Finance.
• Minimum 12‑15+ years of experience in financial public relations or investor relations.
• Experience working with clients in tech, financial services, education, crypto, and corporate communications.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think and write creatively and strategically.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and creative spirit.
