This position is hybrid and based from NYC or NJ. The base pay range is provided below.

• In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 claims professionals handling mid to complex professional liability claims (including Legal E&O, MPL and D&O cases).
• Drive performance of the team and serve as a technical referral point for complex claims, coverage, and litigation matters within professional liability.

• 5+ years leadership experience within professional liability claims (E&O, D&O and other PL claims leadership/technical backgrounds considered).
• Experience with Legal E&O, FI and Private D&O claims highly beneficial.
• Ability to drive performance and grow a claims team, including managing JD law qualified senior claims examiners.
• Extensive exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential - including large loss PL policies.
• Experience working closely with Legal/Claims Counsel and other internal/external teams.
• JD Law is essential to be considered.

This position must be on a hybrid schedule from NYC or NJ with an excellent base salary up to $210,000 + 20% annual bonus. The role has an excellent route of progression to senior leadership (VP/SVP). Remote candidates or other offices cannot be considered.
