The Project Manager provides overall leadership, coordination, and oversight for all contract activities. This role ensures high-quality deliverables, staff performance, and effective communication with the client. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day matters, ensuring contract objectives are achieved on time and within scope.
Responsibilities- Oversee all staff assigned to the contract, providing direction, guidance, and performance management to ensure successful execution of contract requirements.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Serve as the primary daily point of contact for the client regarding all aspects of the firm’s work under the contract.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and priorities to meet established timelines and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, updates, and briefings to leadership and client stakeholders.
- Support contract reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Promote a collaborative team environment and foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, quality control processes, and regulatory or contractual requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Estimated starting salary range is:
Pay commensurate with experience. Full‑time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within government contracting or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing multi‑faceted projects with complex deliverables.
- Strong client‑facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
