Risk Management Claims Manager

Job Summary

The Risk Management Claims Manager will oversee the administration of claims across multiple states and companies, leading a team of claims specialists. Responsibilities include managing carrier relationships, reviewing loss runs, mitigating risks, and coordinating incident communications.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of risk management and claims/incidents via internal and external systems, including loss run review.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation and compliance strategies.
  • Serve as liaison between doctors, operations, field, and support departments to address risk/claims issues.
  • Stay updated on severe weather incidents, industry trends, legal regulations, and recommend policy adjustments.
  • Run reports and present risk/claims data to stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, risk management, compliance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or claims management within the healthcare/dental industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to maintain accurate records and oversee staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and databases for documentation and reporting.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual pay range: $100,000 – $125,000, plus 10% bonus. Generous benefits include paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match.
