Director of Maintenance - Nursing Home
Located in Queens, NY
Salary
: $100K - $110K;
Based on experience
- Responsible for all aspects of maintenance
- Maintaining and coordinating department operations and personnel
- Inspecting equipment and facility for performance, safety, and upkeep
- Maintaining maintenance staff schedules and responsibilities
- Maintaining records of all repairs, warranties, and inspections
- Guarantee that all maintenance work is in accordance with legal standards
- Ensure the completion of all needed repairs and updates
- Have the ability to respond to emergency calls
- Must have Director of Maintenance experience in nursing home settings in New York
- Must be extremely hands‑on with knowledge of maintenance
- Strong maintenance skills
- Possesses the mechanical skills necessary for accomplishing repairs on systems and buildings
- Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste
