• Must be managing a Large P/L 30-50 mil (at min 20-30 mil US based and handled multi geo’s onshore/offshore)
• Need hands on in delivery
• Managing or capable of managing 500 people / leaders
• Must have à Service provider experience — Cognizant or Wipro as examples
• Must have Capital markets domain — Wall Street Investment Banking
• Will need to be able to run operations in BFS in both the US and other Geo’s

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations — Vice President to lead and manage the end-to-end operational framework for a marquee client in the investment management space. This role is pivotal in overseeing operations across both private and public markets, with a strong emphasis on alternative investments including private equity, hedge funds, real assets, and structured products.

• Lead and manage operational strategy, Delivery P&L, execution, and transformation initiatives for investment operations across private and public markets.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison for a large institutional client, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
• Oversee trade lifecycle management, cash and position reconciliations, corporate actions, and settlement processes.
• Drive automation, scalability, and efficiency across operational workflows using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (portfolio managers, compliance, risk, technology) and external partners (custodians, fund administrators, brokers).
• Ensure robust controls, governance, and adherence to regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, etc.).
• Lead a high-performing team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure optimal client satisfaction and operational performance.
• Support onboarding of new investment products and strategies, ensuring operational readiness and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, and lead incident management and resolution processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 15 years of experience in investment operations, with deep exposure to both public and private markets.
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex client relationships.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments and their operational nuances.
• Expertise in operational systems (e.g., Black Rock Aladdin, Geneva, Eagle, Bloomberg, etc.) and data management tools.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a client-first mindset.
