Moving Warehouse Manager

We're recruiting a Warehouse Manager for a well-established moving company based in New York. This is a key role overseeing daily warehouse operations within the moving and relocation industry. Ideal for someone with strong leadership and logistics experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments
• Manage inventory control systems for household goods and commercial equipment
• Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks in line with move schedules
• Ensure accurate labelling, tracking, and storage of client items
• Lead a team of warehouse operatives and supervise daily activity
• Implement and maintain H&S and compliance procedures within the facility
• Support move coordinators with scheduling and job prep requirements
• Monitor warehouse space and storage planning for short and long-term needs
• Carry out regular audits of inventory, damage control, and reporting
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure regular servicing and upkeep
• Liaise with drivers and field teams to streamline logistics flow
• Ensure client goods are handled with care, accuracy, and professionalism

• Proven experience in warehouse management within the moving or relocation industry
• Strong understanding of inventory systems and warehouse logistics
• Confident managing teams and supervising manual handling operations
• Knowledge of compliance, safety regulations, and risk assessments
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Experience handling both household goods and office relocations preferred
