About

The Role

Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking a Senior Broadcast Project Manager to join our high‑performing team and oversee large‑scale audiovisual and broadcast system integration projects. This role requires a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in broadcast engineering, capable of steering complex projects to success.

This role is open to candidates located in the New York/New Jersey/Tri‑State area. This hybrid role will work on‑site from client sites throughout the New York/New Jersey/Tri‑State area on an as‑needed basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution:
    • Provide senior project leadership for the successful coordination and delivery of complex audiovisual and broadcast system installations.
    • Deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to key stakeholders and partners as required.
    • Lead meetings and workshops necessary to deliver the project.
    • Assist and mentor other project managers as assigned.
  • Client Management:
    • Support the client team to establish baseline project budgets and implement cost control procedures.
    • Take senior responsibility for budget control and reconciliation.
    • Lead the vendor bidding process with a senior perspective, enhancing vendor selection and negotiations.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Coordinate the output of the engineering design team with a focus on meeting advanced technical requirements.
    • Proactively identify risks and offer advanced solutions to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that coordination of AV and broadcast requirements aligns with the building completion schedule at a senior management level.
    • Conduct regular site walks to ensure ASG project and client standards are not just met but surpassed.
Requirements
  • A formal qualification in Architecture, Construction, Entertainment, Business, or a related field and/or a certification/degree in Project Management.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant project management work experience, with significant experience in managing large‑scale broadcast projects.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in leading large teams and complex projects.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of G Suite, Smart Sheet, and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to commute to client sites in the New York City area.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Compensation & Benefits

This full‑time role offers a salary of $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience.
