AboutGroup Corporate Development and Integration Management at LSEG
The team partners closely with the CEO, CFO, and Executive Committee to shape LSEG’s corporate strategy and drive inorganic growth. It has executed major M&A transactions, including the $27bn acquisition of Refinitiv a partnership with Microsoft, and the Post Trade Solutions partnership with leading investment banks. The team also manages divestitures such as Borsa Italiana and Beta+, and bolt‑on acquisitions like Acadia, GDC, TORA, and Quantile.
AboutThis Role
We are seeking a high‑performing, collaborative leader to serve as Integration Director. In this key advisory role, you will oversee M&A integration activities, ensure alignment with corporate strategy, and drive long‑term value creation across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships. You will partner with senior leaders across business units, technology, operations, finance, HR, and legal to execute seamless integration and cultural alignment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end integration planning and execution in partnership with M&A Directors.
- Define integration strategy, governance, and success metrics aligned with deal rationale and corporate objectives.
- Drive alignment realization across cost, revenue, and operational dimensions.
- Partner with senior leaders across functions and business units to ensure coordinated delivery.
- Facilitate executive steering committees and integration governance forums.
- Champion cultural alignment and change management across integrated entities.
- Track and report integration progress, risks, and outcomes to senior partners.
- Support the development and growth of the Group Corporate Development team.
- Proven experience leading complex, global M&A integrations in financial services, technology, or a similarly regulated industry, ideally from both corporate and advisory roles.
- Strong commercial foresight and pragmatic, outcome‑oriented mindset.
- Exceptional relationship‑building and partner‑management skills, able to influence at senior levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering executive briefings and reports.
- A collaborative leadership style with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
- Strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and comfort operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to lead with trust, openness, inclusivity, and humility.
- Influence executives and partners with insight and respect, navigating a matrix organisation to bring diverse expertise to decision making.
- MBA or Master’s degree or equivalent experience; professional qualification preferred (e.g., CFA, CA, ACA).
Base salary: $173,900 – $289,900 (varies by location). Eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan.
