Job Overview
Join us as an Associate Team Leader at H&R Block. You’ll support a single retail office during tax season, ensuring client expectations are exceeded and providing daily operations direction.
Schedule:
Start with flexible part‑time in late fall, ramp up for tax season, and transition to full‑time from January through April.
- Support the Multi‑Unit Team Leader as onsite point of contact for tax office associates and clients.
- Execute and hold all tax office associates accountable to the client service experience.
- Serve as point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns.
- Ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved.
- Headfront desk operations, phone coverage, and client engagement to deliver outstanding experience.
- Lead daily activities to ensure associates are scheduled and work is completed on deadlines, maintaining quality standards.
- Lead daily huddles and communicate essential information to office associates.
- Experience supervising or managing people.
- History of delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Prior experience in customer service or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to plan and manage day‑to‑day office operations.
- Customer‑centric mindset and strong communication skills.
- Computer proficient with MS Office.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or higher).
- Flexible work schedule (40 hours per week).

$16.50 – $29.00 per hour.
