Base Pay Range$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
dWELL is a gender‑affirming recovery housing that promotes skills‑based learning and community support for young adults navigating mental health concerns. Housed in a residence that pairs self‑contained apartments with vibrant community spaces all under one roof, dWELL’s mission is to empower our residents with the support and tools they need for launching sustainable, independent lives.
dWELL Recovery has an ongoing need for a House Manager to work Wednesday‑Sunday from 12 a.m. – 8 a.m.
EssentialJob Duties for House Manager
- Take lead on 1–2 projects by developing and implementing workflows within the organization. Monitor progress of ongoing projects.
- Support the extension of programming offered at dWELL, including but not limited to transitional living support, transitional studio support, Companion services, etc.
- Ensure Resident Advisors are compliant with organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and other meetings in accordance with program needs.
- Train new dWELL Recovery team members.
- Hold weekly 1:1 individualized meetings with the Program Director to communicate progress toward performance goals, identify and communicate professional development needs and opportunities.
- Achieve performance and professional development goals as identified in individual work plans and development plans.
- Lead or co‑lead onsite community‑building activities.
- Co‑manage and/or complete weekly apartment checklists for each apartment, restocking necessary items, filling out checklists electronically, and uploading to a shared drive.
- Oversee expenses regarding resident/community supplies, groceries, weekend activities, etc.
- Co‑manage supply stocking and ordering (Costco, cleaning, etc.) and complete weekly inventory for common household needs (garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, Clorox wipes, Lysol, trox cups, breathalyzer tips, etc.).
- Manage RA team members to ensure resident chores are completed and chore lists are filled out.
- Collaborate with dWELL team members to oversee all resident schedules.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Program Director and House Managers to conduct regular house walkthroughs to ensure the quality of the house meets standards.
- Collaborate with dWELL team members to ensure residents adhere to their medications.
- Ensure the timely completion of required documentation for every shift, as per agency policy; ensure documentation meets regulatory guidelines for level of care.
- Assist in providing crisis intervention, as necessary.
- Inform the Program Director and Assistant Program Director of all activities and significant conditions which may impact facility operations and resident care.
- Must be able to lift and transport moderate to heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as part of room setup, resident move‑ins, and related responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s (required), MA/MS (preferred) – either or both in a social science field.
- Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of related experience with Substance Use Disorders and the 12‑Step Recovery Model.
- Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of related experience in an adolescent or young adult treatment center.
- Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a mental health facility.
- Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in program development.
- Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in crisis management.
