Brightsmith is partnered with an early-stage, high-growth organization, operating at the center of the EV and fleet electrification movement, delivering turnkey EV Infrastructure - spanning siting, design, construction, commissioning, and long-term operations to commercial fleet operators across North America.

They’re now hiring a Project Manager to lead full-cycle delivery of complex infrastructure projects — from pre-construction through commissioning and post-build O&M. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to bring commercial-scale EV and energy deployments to life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivering from pre-construction through commissioning, closeout to ongoing asset management and O&M
  • Coordinate all site diligence, engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction workflows, running a smooth and effective construction process
  • Create actionable steps out of complex projects that are clearly understood and executed by all project stakeholders
  • Prepare RFPs, technical briefs, and scopes of work for suppliers, engineers, and contractors
  • Manage multiple subcontractors, vendors, and on-site execution partners

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading construction and infrastructure development projects within the commercial solar, EV Charging, Battery Storage, or across the distributed energy space
  • Strong understanding of site-level construction workflows, permitting, and coordinating contractors and multiple vendors
  • Experience working with project planning tools (MS Project, Gantt Charts, Excel, etc) and with technical drawings
  • Ability to lead quality standards, project controls, and knowledge of OSHA protocols
  • Low-ego, team-first mindset; and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment!
