About Odyssey HouseSince 1967, Odyssey House has been providing innovative, holistic services to individuals and families struggling with substance use and mental health disorders across New York City. Our mission is to support personal rehabilitation, renewal, and family restoration through highly individualized treatment programs.
Compensation and BenefitsBase salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement plan, and various employee assistance programs.
Major FunctionsThe Director oversees daily operations of an OASAS 819 certified residential services program, ensuring compliance with regulations, supervising staff, and maintaining program quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and monitor program policies and procedures.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, funding sources, and community partners.
- Supervise staff, oversee record-keeping, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Manage admissions, incident reports, and quality assurance activities.
- Lead staff training, evaluations, and meetings.
- Ensure the physical safety and cleanliness of the facility.
- Prepare reports and manage personnel actions.
- Participate in certification and quality management activities.
- Master’s degree preferred;
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience acceptable. - Minimum 2 years in administration and 1 year in a clinical or mental health setting.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CASAC, Ph.D., MSN).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records.
- Flexible schedule and availability for on-call responsibilities.
- Full-time, senior-level position with a directorial role.
