• Evaluates client needs related to accounting and finance processes and recommends project approaches. Contributes to the proposal development process on outsourced controller/CFO projects and other special projects.
• Participates in engagement planning and budgeting and defines content and deliverables while managing controls and risk.
• Manages and delivers on outsourced controller/CFO projects, including overseeing day‑to‑day accounting functions, coordinating accounts receivable and payable, and remitting appropriate payments.
• Manages month‑end closing process and prepares financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Researches technical accounting issues, formulates resolutions, and implements improvements to internal processes and controls.
• Analyzes trends and metrics with leadership to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Manages special projects related to client accounting functions and identifies challenges and day‑to‑day relationships.
• Creates and manages project budgets, ensures projects come in at or under approved budget, and maintains project timelines.
• Provides direction, training, guidance, and oversight to staff and monitors performance.
• Maintains required CPE hours for firm and licensing standards.

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting, audit and/or financial statement experience.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• CPA certification or exams passed is preferred.
• Accounting back‑office experience.
• Strong organization skills, goal orientation, and self‑motivation.
• Ability to handle multiple client files and deadlines at one time and work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven success in managing key client relationships to exceed client expectations.
