Sr Manager, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth)

Jerry.ai is looking for a Sr Manager, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) to help scale our core insurance business. This high‑visibility role reports to the VP of Insurance Operations and owns systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerry’s quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance. Working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and analytics, you will create a seamless user experience and ensure ongoing carrier success to drive critical outcomes for our insurance marketplace (loss ratio, retention, conversion).

Responsibilities:

  • Own the architecture and operational strategy for the quoting engine and automation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, and carrier partners to optimize user experience and carrier performance.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve loss ratio, retention, and conversion.
  • Develop and execute dashboards and metrics to track marketplace performance.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage high‑performing team members.

Preferred Experience &

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc).
  • 5+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, Boston Consulting Group).
  • Strong problem‑solving framework, first‑principles thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical stakeholders, business partners, and C‑suite.
  • Track record of building and managing high‑performing teams.

  • Competitive base salary within the range of $140,000–$160,000 (subject to change).
