As a Field Safety Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our driver safety program by monitoring standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining compliance records, and assisting in training efforts.

• Lead Safety Compliance:
  Supervise and enforce ramp and employee safety initiatives in alignment with company and customer standards.
• Collaborate with Leadership:
  Partner with JFK Airport management on safety matters involving OSHA, FAA, EPA, DOT, and state agencies.
• Drive Safety Metrics:
  Coordinate safety programs and implement measurement systems to track performance and progress.
• Train & Empower:
  Deliver regular training on Employee Safety and Ramp Safety SOPs to ensure team readiness and awareness.
• Oversee Daily Operations:
  Supervise department activities to maintain safe and efficient workflows.
• Host Monthly Safety Meetings:
  Facilitate engaging safety discussions and updates to keep teams informed and aligned.
• Investigate & Improve:
  Lead accident investigations and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented and sustained.
• Ensure Audit Readiness:
  Work closely with JFK leadership to maintain compliance and prepare for internal and external audits.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field (preferred). 3 years of experience in safety operations, ideally in food service, aviation, or logistics. Strong working knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, DOT, and other regulatory standards. Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Willingness to work on-site at JFK and travel as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
