AS646 - House Manager​/Butler - West Village, NYC

Overview

A busy and kind family of four is seeking a fantastic house manager/butler to help them oversee their home in the West Village. The schedule for this role will generally be Monday through Friday, full-time hours, with some flexibility for events occurring during evenings and weekends. This position is set up to be live-out, but the family is willing to provide separate living accommodations for the ideal person.

This position involves aspects of management, including overseeing some household staff and outside vendors, and also includes duties related to hospitality, including greeting guests and providing service at events and parties.

• Supervising and overseeing housekeeping staff, including assisting with heavy lifting as needed
• Five-star level service and hospitality
• Anticipate principal/guests' needs
• Consistently ensuring the highest level of service is provided
• Greeting guests and acting as front-of-house
• Providing service during events and parties
• Monitoring the home for necessary repairs and upkeep - performing light maintenance
• Hiring and supervising vendors
• Work with existing staff to keep the home in running order

• US work authorization
• Available to start ASAP
• Spanish speaker is preferred
• Formal dining and wine service knowledge
• Experience with service and comfortable with interacting with both vendors and guests

• $120-150k++ DOE
