Director of Operations / COO
Tri-State Area/Hybrid
$180k - $250k

A rapidly growing healthcare company is seeking a Director of Operations / COO to build, scale, and operate a high-performing organization. This role requires exceptional drive, ambition, and execution skills, with a focus on developing operational infrastructure, driving provider engagement, and ensuring organizational excellence as the company continues to expand.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top clinical providers while fostering a culture that prioritizes their needs and satisfaction.
  • Design and implement operational systems and processes to streamline daily functions across all business units.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationship success.
  • Oversee the implementation of clinical and administrative systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and track KPIs to monitor operational performance and profitability at both company and provider levels.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data and optimize company-wide performance.
  • Provide strong leadership and communication, maintaining both a strategic perspective and a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Drive a results-oriented culture with clear accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, ideally within the SNF or post-acute space.
  • Proven ability to operate a business at a high level, balancing strategy and execution.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to command a room and inspire confidence.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the hard work as the company scales.
