Associate Director, Office of the President
Join Eurasia Group as an Associate Director in the Office of the President. This role supports the principal through briefings, event follow‑up, executive relationship management, and day‑to‑day strategic growth initiatives.
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate has a background in international relations, proven relationship management, and expertise in events and business. The role is based in Eurasia Group’s New York office.
Core Functions- Drafting and reviewing principal’s meeting prep materials and coordinating with teams across the firm for relevant inputs on client and policymaker briefings.
- Tracking and driving follow‑up for department’s client engagement and commercial opportunity priorities across advisory, events, media, and new ventures.
- Managing post‑event follow‑up and other projects with the president’s team and key stakeholders.
- Facilitating internal processes to ensure principal’s account engagement addresses client needs.
- Authoring correspondence and discussion documents to advance priorities.
- Project management and execution.
- Coordinating scheduling and logistics for the president’s speaking engagements and meetings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in political science, international relations, business management, or a related field.
- 5‑7 years of experience in international affairs, principal support, business management, and/or policy making environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
- Exceptional organizational and relationship‑management abilities with acute attention to detail.
- Experience with event planning and execution (academic, professional, or extracurricular).
- Knowledge of global political systems and a keen interest in monitoring daily world news.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong research and synthesis abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Collaborative mindset in a fast‑paced team adapting to evolving priorities.
- Commitment to continuous excellence and high standards.
- Familiarity with multiple geographies and time zones.
- Foreign‑language proficiency is a plus.
Must be eligible for employment in the United States and available to work in New York.
Base salary: $85,000‑95,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
