About the Vice President RoleThe Vice President will work closely with senior-level team members to grow accounts focused on corporate communications, brand building, and crisis management.
Lead account strategy and daily management with an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate has deep media relations experience and excels in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Lead clients with relative independence and manage account team.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day account go‑to for internal team and clients.
- Develop complex, multifaceted communications plans and supplemental project plans.
- Ensure highest quality client deliverables and consistent client management.
- Create early drafts of new business presentations and actively present to prospects.
- Drive client goals and internal leadership initiatives.
- Approximately 8‑12 years of public relations experience, preferably at an agency.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted client partnerships as a strategic advisor.
- Proven expertise in media relations with high‑impact coverage and top‑tier journalist relationships.
- Energetic, solutions‑oriented leader who aligns initiatives with client and organizational goals.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
- Collaborative, team‑focused leader passionate about mentoring and developing high‑performing teams.
Base salary range $125,000‑$165,000. Additional compensation includes discretionary bonus, new business commission, and a comprehensive benefits package.
