The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager to ensure that day‑to‑day business operations run smoothly. This position provides an opportunity for entry‑level managers to learn important management skills and practice judgment and discretion skills.

• Responsible for confidently delivering performance feedback, setting goals, fostering teamwork and clearly communicating business objectives.
• Ensure the day‑to‑day supervision of non‑management associates, assigning specified work and focusing on store‑level operation performance, coaching and developing shift supervisors.
• Competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues in a timely fashion.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain an awareness of all applicable brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensure the store always looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and processed daily, reports delivered as per company directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long‑term relationships.
• Ensure inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.
