* Achim Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools (HWPS) is located on the south shore of Long Island and is consistently ranked as one of the highest performing districts on both state and national levels.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the district's Assistant Superintendent for Business & Operations.

The Assistant Superintendent for Business & Operations will serve as the chief fiscal officer of the school district and is responsible for the planning, development, and management of all business and financial operations.

This position reports to the Superintendent of Schools.

Required Qualifications:

NYSED certification in administration (SDA/SDBL)

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business administration, school business leadership, or related field;
Previous experience as a Business Official, Assistant Business Administrator, or similar role;

Experience with school finance systems, audits, and capital planning.
