Group Vice President, Product ManagementThe American Arbitration Association (AAA) is seeking a Group Vice President, Product Management to lead and scale our enterprise Product Management function and help shape the next generation of AAA products and services. This is a senior enterprise leadership role with a broad mandate spanning product strategy, portfolio management, customer experience, commercialization, and organizational capability building. The GVP will translate AAA’s strategy, customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging technologies into a high-performing portfolio that delivers meaningful customer and business outcomes.
The role also has direct business responsibility for AAA’s AI and other designated new-product businesses, including P&L accountability, commercial strategy, revenue targets, and leadership of dedicated business development and sales resources.
Build and lead an enterprise Product Management function. Establish the operating model, governance, processes, decision rights, standards, tools, and capabilities required to mature and scale Product Management across AAA. Build and develop a high-performing organization spanning Product Management and related disciplines such as product experience/UX, business analysis, and product operations. Set product and portfolio strategy. Develop an enterprise product strategy aligned with AAA’s strategic priorities and long-term objectives.
Establish portfolio priorities and guide investment, sequencing, resource allocation, and trade-off decisions. Evaluate opportunities to build, buy, license, or partner to expand capabilities and accelerate product development. Put customers and markets at the center of product decisions. Establish disciplined approaches to customer discovery, user research, market intelligence, competitive analysis, journey mapping, and behavioral insights. Maintain relationships with customers, users, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners to ensure product decisions are grounded in real-world needs.
Lead commercialization of AI and new products. Own the commercial and sales strategy for AAA’s AI and other designated new-product businesses. Establish revenue targets and commercial-readiness criteria, oversee pipeline and customer acquisition, and lead the dedicated business development and sales resources supporting these businesses. Own new-product business performance. Manage the P&L for AAA’s AI and other designated new-product businesses, including revenue performance, product costs, investment requirements, forecasts, and financial trade-offs.
Develop business cases and investment recommendations that balance customer value, market opportunity, financial impact, risk, and scalability. Shape the end-to-end customer experience. Lead product experience across customer-facing platforms, products, and touchpoints. Use UX research, customer feedback, behavioral data, and journey mapping to identify opportunities to improve usability, engagement, adoption, and customer outcomes. Create strong enterprise partnerships. Work closely with Technology, Innovation, Operations, Marketing, Business Development, Alliances, Finance, Legal, Security, Data, AI Governance, and business-unit leaders to turn product strategy into successful customer and business outcomes.
Measure what matters. Establish portfolio- and product-level success measures spanning customer adoption, experience, business impact, and lifecycle performance. For designated new-product businesses, establish and manage revenue, profitability, pipeline, conversion, retention, expansion, and other relevant commercial measures.
