GENERAL MANAGER
Location:
Brooklyn, NY Relocation:

Compensation: $175,000–$200,000 annually | Flexible based on experience

Master’s preferred ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is an amusement park development and management company seeking an experienced General Manager to lead park operations, safety, financial performance, staffing, guest experience, and growth.
ABOUT
THE ROLE The General Manager will provide hands-on leadership across all aspects of park operations, working closely with corporate leadership to drive safety, guest experience, revenue growth, operational excellence, and long-term development.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Oversee daily park operations, including Food & Beverage, Ride Operations, Midway Games, Park Services, EMT, Security, Retail, Photo, Arcade, and Guest Services
• Oversee Ride Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Project Management, and IT
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, guest service, and regulatory compliance
• Manage budgets, forecasts, expenses, revenue, and P&L performance; report results to the President/CEO
• Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, career development, and team building
• Develop and maintain staffing plans based on occupancy, business volume, and safety requirements
• Manage vendors, contractors, subcontractors, outside services, and development projects
• Partner with corporate leadership on sales, marketing, PR, promotions, branding, and community engagement
• Develop annual business plans, budgets, capital plans, and long-term strategic initiatives
• Drive attendance, revenue growth, operating calendar expansion, and overall park performance
• Oversee loss prevention, incident documentation, liability reduction, insurance communication, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including permits, licenses, certifications, alcohol awareness, food safety, and employee regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, resources, and operational efficiencyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of management experience within an amusement park and/or multi-site attractions environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field;
Master’s preferred
• Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance
• Strong leadership, team-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing safety, regulatory compliance, and high-volume operations
• Strong organizational, time-management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using technology and computer systems to support business operations
• Hands-on, adaptable leadership style with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredIDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and hold teams accountable
• Strong business judgment, integrity, energy, and commitment to guest experience
