Solar Service Manager; Residential & Commercial

We’re looking for a hands-on Solar Service Manager to lead our residential and commercial service operations. This role isideal for a top-performing solar technician ready to step into leadership. Someone who can manage people, solve complex system issues, and keep operations running efficiently.

You’ll oversee field technicians, handle advanced troubleshooting, coordinate service work, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction acrossall projects.

• Report directly to Director of Ops and CEO
• Lead and manage ateam of solar service technicians
• Oversee daily service operations (residential + commercial)
• Diagnose and resolve complex solar system issues (inverters, monitoring,electrical faults)
• Optimize scheduling,dispatching, and job efficiency
• Manage subcontractors(including roofing crews)
• Handle permitting,inspections, and utility coordination
• Support saleswith system upgrades, add-ons, and technical insight
• Aid in the creation of service estimates and assist with project scoping
• Maintain inventory,tools, fleet, and warehouse organization
• Ensure all workmeets safety standards and NEC code
• Act as escalation point for customer and technical issues

• 5+ years of solar experience(install, service, or O&M)
• Experience with both residential and commercial systems
• Leadership or team management experience preferred
• Knowledge of NEC and solar best practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
