Jacquemus was founded by Simon Porte Jacquemus in 2009 in Paris, France.

Dedicated to the memory of the designer’s late mother, the brand draws inspiration from a passion for culture. The Jacquemus ready-to-wear and accessories collections for men and women reference the French way of life and universal gestures of beauty, encompassing influences from fine art photography to decorative arts, cinema, painting, and sculpture.

Throughout the years, Jacquemus has staged runway productions in unique and unexpected locations, including a Parisian swimming pool, the Musée Picasso, a lavender field in Provence, a wheat field outside Paris, a salt marsh in the Camargue, and a beach in Hawaii. More recently, the brand has embraced settings such as the canal of the Château de Versailles (Le Chouchou), the Fondation Maeght (Les Sculptures), Casa Malaparte (La Casa) and Auguste Perret’s Parisian apartment (La Croisière).

Based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Jacquemus is an independent fashion house with over 300 employees. Renowned for its fast-growing digital presence and its worldwide business spread, the brand has created innovative retail experiences around the world before opening its first permanent flagship store at 58 Avenue Montaigne in Paris in 2022. Following this milestone, international boutiques have opened in New York (SoHo), London (New Bond Street), Los Angeles (Melrose Avenue) and Dubai.

The City Manager is a strong leader responsible for driving the business through sales support, enforcing operational policies, training, and stock management. This position maintains the highest degree of customer service every day in accordance with brand principles and empowers associates to make decisions in the best interest of providing an elevated customer experience.

The City Manager collaborates closely with the HQ team in Paris and, in the absence of a local HQ team, represents the Maison locally. In this role, the City Manager also leads the opening and ongoing operation of Bloomingdale's concession corner, in addition to the Soho flagship — managing both doors as a unified commercial and operational scope.

• Demonstrate leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor,coaching and motivating the team

• Manage and lead team efforts inclientelingfocused on new client acquisition and retention

• Analyze andmonitorstore KPIs on a daily,weeklyand monthly basis to implement action plans to achieve target KPIs

• Perform daily reporting and analysis andidentifyopportunities to improve performance

• Ensurethehighestlevelofcustomerservice

• Analyze performance by category and partner with the Merchandising team tovalidateaction plansin order todrive positive and sustainable growth

• Responsible for P&L of the store incloverssingstaff and runningcostto maintainanhealthy bottom line.

• Lead, coach, andmotivateteamtoperformattheirhighestpotential

• Coach the sales team on how to deliver a unique and memorable shopping experience,observingthe sales floor and providing feedback accordingly

• Manage performancereviewsanddevelopmentplans for all direct reports

• Ensure all staff receives monthly,quarterly and annual feedback

• Ensure behavior reflects the Jacquemusbrand and people values, showing pride, enthusiasm,commitment and initiative

• Approve andmonitorstore schedules

• Ensure the integrity ofpayrolland thepayrollprocess

• Recruit, develop andretaintop talent; a translatable, pre-existing client book is a strong asset for this role
