The Area Manager is responsible for directing, planning, and scheduling janitorial services operations within an assigned portfolio. Key duties include supervising janitorial supervisors, ensuring contract compliance and quality assurance, managing client and labor relations, and overseeing budgets and equipment. The role requires strong leadership, performance evaluation, and incident reporting skills. The position involves minimal local travel within the NYC area and is based on-site at client locations.

• Supervise and support Janitorial Supervisors and Forepersons across assigned accounts
• Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure contract compliance and service standards
• Review complaints, incidents, and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and documentation
• Monitor payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, budgets, equipment, and operational reports for accuracy
• Lead training, performance evaluations, and emergency response planning, including snow operations

• 6–10 years experience managing janitorial operations and supervising multiple teams
• Knowledge of quality control inspections, contract compliance, and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to manage payroll, scheduling, budgets, and operational reporting
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and janitorial management software

Pay Rate USD 90,000 – 100,000
