Salary Range: $87,000 to $103,000

The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. If you are hired at American Water your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as market, geography, skills, education and/or experience. At American Water, we are committed to pay equity.

Manage the environmental, health, and safety program at the MSG and/or CSG location, supporting project operations, maintenance and capital staff. Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance by following all company, state, and federal requirements and regulations. Maintaining all health & safety programs, processes, and procedures at the location to ensure everyone’s safety as well as compliance. Main point of contact (POC) concerning staff, regulators, inspectors, and auditors regarding all EH&S programs, processes and procedures.

Primary trainer regarding all EH&S materials for the location’s staff as well as visitors or contractors.

• Develop and continually improve the company’s overall environmental compliance programs and systems.
• Develop, document, provide training and oversee the implementation of the Company's Environmental Policies.
• Manage, audit and document each facility’s compliance with the EMP and Load Program, utilization of and execution of the CATF and CMMS, as well as all site Environmental Plans through a team of Environmental Specialists.
• Develop, document, provide training and oversee the implementation of the Plans, Programs and SOPs for facility Operations, Laboratory, Regulatory Reporting and Environmental Compliance.
