Job Description & How to Apply Below

This elite global law firm is widely recognized as a market-leading powerhouse, consistently ranked among the top law firms globally for exceptional client service, innovation, and strategic counsel. Comprising approximately 2,500 lawyers and business services professionals across key financial, corporate, and technological hubs worldwide, the firm advises premier asset managers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and multinational corporations on their most complex deals and regulatory matters.

Built on a highly collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture, the organization empowers its practice development and marketing leaders to act as true strategic advisors, offering a dynamic environment to build high-impact careers.

Reporting directly to the Director of Practice Development, the Practice Development Manager serves as a senior trusted advisor to practice leaders, specialty group chairs, and partners, focusing primarily on the firm’s premier Registered Funds group. In this multi-faceted operational and strategic role, you will lead daily group business operations, set long-term strategic plans, track group profitability, and optimize resource management. You will oversee lateral partner onboarding, talent succession planning, legal directory submissions, and thought leadership campaigns, while collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, BD, Marketing, and Knowledge Management teams.

Additionally, you will mentor a dedicated team of specialists and analysts while driving AI-enabled operational workflows across the practice.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished, business-savvy manager with at least 8 years of experience in business operations, legal practice management, or asset management/registered funds within a major law firm environment. You bring exceptional financial acumen, and project management skills, with a proven ability to establish immediate credibility and advise senior partners on group strategy. A collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who brings a "can-do" attitude, you excel at managing cross-functional initiatives, analyzing complex operational data, and developing team members in a fast-paced setting.
