Purpose

Victoria’s Secret is seeking an inspiring merchandising leader to drive the next phase of growth for our Sport and Swim businesses. This executive will shape category vision, product strategy, and commercial performance across a highly dynamic omnichannel business, balancing customer insight, product intuition, and financial acumen to unlock growth.

The ideal candidate is an apparel-first merchant with exceptional taste, strong product instincts, and a proven ability to build and scale growth businesses. They are equally comfortable using data to inform decisions and relying on customer and fashion intuition to identify what’s next. This leader will partner closely with Design, Product Development, Planning, and cross-functional teams to create compelling assortments that connect fashion, function, and the distinctive Victoria’s Secret brand DNA.

Success in this role requires visionary thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to inspire teams and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Leadership

• Develop and execute long-term growth strategies for Sport and Swim, aligned to brand objectives.

• Drive sales, margin, and inventory productivity while identifying new opportunities for growth.

• Utilize customer insights, market trends, and analytics to inform category strategies and investment decisions.

• Lead category transformation efforts, balancing innovation, productivity, and customer relevance.

• Champion an omnichannel approach, ensuring strategies reflect evolving customer shopping behaviors.

Product & Assortment Leadership

• Create compelling assortments that balance fashion, functionality, innovation, and commercial performance.

• Partner closely with Design and Product Development to establish category vision and seasonal product strategies.

• Ensure Sport delivers both technical performance and the confident, feminine aesthetic of Victoria’s Secret.

• Drive Swim growth through differentiated product, compelling storytelling, and a digital-first mindset.

• Lead competitive analysis, customer research, and trend identification to uncover new opportunities.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Build and leverage strong partnerships across Design, Product Development, Planning, Production, Sourcing, Marketing, Digital, and Stores.

• Influence and align stakeholders across a complex matrixed environment.

• Translate category vision into clear priorities and flawless execution.

• Foster collaboration that delivers exceptional product and business results.

Talent Leadership

• Lead and develop high-performing merchandising organizations across multiple teams.
