Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a crew of painters on job sites, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and client standards.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate with project managers and clients to ensure expectations are met.
- Train and mentor junior painters to help them develop their skills.
- Complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality results.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate in our methods.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coatings application.
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Commitment to producing high-quality, professional results.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures, including fall protection and hazardous material handling.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work on ladders or lifts when necessary.
- No special licenses required.
