Contract Position
$29.87-$35.70/Hour
Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance

Responsibilities- Drill, ream, and install fasteners (rivets, blind rivets, screws, hi‑locks, lock bolts) in both metallic and composite structures
. - Read and interpret blueprints, process data sheets, and maintenance manuals
. - Identify and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, grip gauges, etc.) to achieve tolerances of .001" – .0005".
- Fabricate, locate, trim, and assemble structural components per engineering requirements.
- Perform major and minor modifications to aircraft skins and structures.
- Use assembly jigs, repair equipment, and fixed tooling for part alignment, trimming, and assembly.
- Remove/reinstall access panels and fairings, extract damaged fasteners without structural damage.
- Apply aircraft finishes, sealants, Alodine, primer, and paint
. - Perform cleaning, corrosion prevention, and polish/dry wash tasks.
- Install safety wiring and cotter pins in accordance with technical specifications.
- High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of relevant aircraft structural experience
. - Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
. - 3–5 years’ experience in aircraft structural repair or assembly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Close tolerance hole drilling
. - Part location and fabrication
. - Blueprint reading and interpretation
. - Basic mathematical calculations
.

. - Ability to work at heights using fall protection systems; must obtain Fall Protection Certification (OSHA 1926, 191066, 1910 Subpart
D).
