About the RoleWe’re looking for a product engineer to help advance our mission of solving the youth mental health crisis. Specifically we’re looking to scale the life‑changing care we’re providing to thousands of families today to tens of thousands of families in the next few years, and we need help getting there. This is a high‑impact, high‑ownership role for someone who wants to go deep across the stack and own products end‑to‑end — whether that’s product for schools, experiences for patients, an EHR for therapists, or internal tools that glue everything together.
You’ll be a technical leader with strong product instincts, helping us build intuitive, elegant, and scalable software for the people who need it most. You'll collaborate closely with product, operations, growth and clinical teams, and have the opportunity to own key parts of our product end‑to‑end.
What You’ll DoShip highly impactful products that delight our users
- Be a core contributor to at least one of Marble’s product surfaces:
- A platform for school workers who are underserved and overburdened
- Interfaces for students and families navigating care
- Workflows for therapists providing that care
- Voice your beliefs on what we should build, not just how we build.
- Help shape the systems that underpin our product — from frontend performance and design systems to devX to backend infrastructure like event‑driven workflows.
- Be a voice on the team. Level up those around you, set the standard for clean, maintainable code and champion best practices. Generally grow a strong, thoughtful engineering culture.
- Work closely with our growth, ops and clinical teams to deeply understand user needs and translate them into great experiences. Develop a strong sense of empathy for our diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of product engineering experience
- Experience with modern tech stacks (node.js or python & react) with a proven track record of building and maintaining full stack web applications
- Prior startup experience, or a really strong desire to work at an early stage company
- NYC-based and able to work from our SoHo office 3 days/week
- Prior experience in the healthtech space
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience with design systems, accessibility, or frontend performance optimization
- Experience with platform infrastructure (e.g. event‑driven systems, internal tooling, data pipelines) and/or cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, CI/CD, IaC such as Terraform)
🏃 Relentless Drive
- You’re the hardest worker in the room who takes full responsibility for outcomes and tackles any task, no matter how small.
🧑🤝🧑 Introspective Team Player
- You invest in relationships and team morale while actively seeking feedback and self‑evaluating to continuously improve.
🧭 Operationally Excellent
- You communicate clearly, think logically, and execute efficiently & effectively.
