As the 2nd Shift Production Test Lead, you oversee testing operations for Power and I/O electronic products, ensuring that all test processes are executed accurately and efficiently during second shift. You support test setups, troubleshoot issues, monitor production floor activity, and ensure a smooth handoff between first and second shift. Your leadership supports North Atlantic Industries’ mission to deliver rugged, high‑reliability electronics for aerospace and defense applications.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily testing operations performed by test operators on the 2nd shift across Power and I/O product lines.
- Monitor the production test floor to ensure operators are actively engaged and testing is progressing per schedule.
- Provide support to test operators on setup issues, functional test execution, and interpretation of test procedures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for 2nd shift test‑related issues, escalating technical concerns as needed to Engineering or Quality.
- Ensure accurate documentation of test results and consistent adherence to established test procedures and quality standards.
- Communicate shift status updates, in‑process work, and any unresolved issues to 1st shift teams to ensure continuity.
- Track production throughput and test completion rates, adjusting priorities as needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure ESD, safety, and cleanroom protocols are consistently followed on the test floor.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring test or process inefficiencies.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics testing, preferably in a production environment.
- Prior leadership experience in a production or test environment.
- Ability to read and follow detailed test procedures and work instructions accurately.
- Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies.
- Experience supporting or coordinating production test activities.
Skills And Abilities
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with testing of power supplies, multifunction I/O modules, or embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of ERP or MES systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Strong communication and organizational skills, especially in a cross‑shift environment.
- Ability to manage multiple test priorities and work independently with minimal supervision on 2nd shift.
- Understanding of industry standards such as IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001.
- Schedule:
M-F 2nd Shift 3PM-11:30PM.

Salary: $30 - $37 per hour + Night Differential.
