What You’ll Get to DoThe Shipping Supervisor - located in Midway, TN is focused on the Safety, Employee and Customer Relations, Production, Quality and Scheduling commitments. and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Night Shift 6PM - 6AM Job responsibilities include:- Ensure quality in all aspects of the department’s products – shipments, truckloads, paperwork, etc.
- Processing of shipments and running reports in the Epicor and Epics systems
- Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Epicor and Epics systems and the ability to be trained to an expert level.
- Work very closely with the Transportation Supervisor to ensure we optimize the use of our transportation resources and meet customer shipment requirements
- Three to five years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Possess an understanding of process control concepts.
- General knowledge of computers/software, Microsoft Office, Epics, Ignition software.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and service-oriented business practices.
