Production Manager

Nili Lotan is looking for a Production Manager to join our Team. This role is responsible for all aspects of garment production with both domestic and international factories. This candidate will spearhead the entire production life cycle of their product category from PPS approval through marking/grading, cutting, sewing, finishing, QC, and shipping. Focus of the role will be on daily communication with factories, monitoring/strategizing flow and capacity throughout production cycles, collaborating with cross‑functional partners to provide anticipated shipping flow, and communicating all related production issues both in the field and internally.

Responsibilities:

• Support Senior Production Manager to ensure factories are hitting all deadlines
• Visit factories daily to ensure all necessary materials are in hand to allow for seamless production flow, including all reference samples, specs/comments, cutwork, trims, shipping supplies
• Communicate daily with overseas factories to track progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure factories are producing as per confirmed x‑fty dates
• Report on communicated and observed progress at factories, production issues, and potential delays
• Ensure WIP and RLM are updated and accurately reflects current status of styles in production
• Participate in weekly WIP meetings with Production, Raw Materials, Tech Design, and Sales/Planning; advise of issues or concerns on delivery / process
• Coordinate with RM team to ensure all materials are accounted for and ready to pull when needed
• Assist in updating any changes to style information, yields, BOMs, costing, PO’s, and shipments in RLM
• Manage UPC files and creating stickers for hangtags and polybags
• Create PO’s
• Create Marking/Grading Requests
• Create Bulk Cutting Requests
• Coordinate QC and truck pickups to warehouse, providing updates to QC and Shipment Dates and managing changes in schedule when required
• Coordinate international freight forwarder for international factories shipping to warehouse
• Work with trucking company/freight fowarder and logistics team on inbound shipments; creating shipments and ASN’s in RLM; forwarding packing lists, and consolidating or expediting as necessary

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production or related field preferred
• 5 + years of apparel production experience. Experience with in luxury, contemporary, or premium brands is a plus
• Experience managing both domestic and international factories across the full production life cycle
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, finishing techniques, marking and grading, and factory capabilities.
• Proficiency with RLM
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for production tracking and analysis
• Familiarity with PLM or comparable production management platforms
• Ability to troubleshoot production delays, quality issues, and factory bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions
• Excellent communication skills with both factories and internal cross‑functional partners
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven, with the ability to manage multiple styles across multiple vendors simultaneously
• Additional languages supporting vendor communication (Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Spanish) are a plus
