Base pay range: $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Duration: 06 Months (Possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and budget)

Client: One of the leading global provider of advanced materials, surface coatings, and equipment in the US

Overview: This is a Metrology based position involving the use of various hand tools and some semi-automated tools (calipers, micrometers, surface roughness gages, etc.).

Duties:

• The position will encompass the 3 departments that make up Quality Control (Final Inspection, Incoming/In-Process inspection and NDT – Non Destructive Testing).

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast paced technical environment.
• Able to lift up to 40lbs on your own.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Nice to have experience using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Interest in learning various equipment in the 3 departments.
• The ability to read blueprints would be helpful but not necessary.
• Would be on your feet for extended periods of time.
