Art’s Café is seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for sourdough baking, local grains, bakery production, pastry and business development/leadership
Responsibilities:
Lead daily production of sourdough breads - determining batch sizes, mixing, shaping, baking; ensure consistency in bread production from mix to bake; support staff involved in pastry production; work with the bread team to expand skills and product offerings
Qualifications:
3-5 years of sourdough baking experience in a production capacity but serious home bakers will be considered; experience in a fast‑paced food service or retail business; ability to work efficiently in a small space, maintain high standards, lift and bend repeatedly
Wages & Benefits:
Staff Pay—$15.50 (w/tips $18‑19);
Worker Owner—$18.50 (w/tips $21‑23);
Worker owners receive PTO and are eligible for profit sharing
