Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Edgewood, NY
Full‑time, permanent, on‑site. Expected start date:
January 5, 2026.
Annual salary: $75k–$80k, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

• Oversee insertion operations and ensure all Service Level Agreements with clients are met in the most cost‑efficient manner.
• Manage a team of up to 40 full‑time associates and temp staff, prioritizing all client mailings on the production floor to meet SEC and contractual requirements.
• Monitor production lines to maximize throughput, minimize labor cost, and coordinate resources between departments to maximize efficiency while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Produce operator productivity/quality reports and provide ongoing performance feedback to staff.
• Lead, motivate, and continuously improve team performance in terms of productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Ensure all machines have work (minimize downtime) and that the right jobs are on the right machines.
• Track all ‘hot jobs’ and communicate status information between departments to meet must‐mail deadlines.
• Ensure material handlers keep machines filled with proper material/envelopes required for the job, and audit envelopes and materials for accurate inventory counts.
• Assume all Production Manager responsibilities in the absence of the Production Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5 years experience working in a Production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong PC/systems skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to understand budgets and analyze data to improve operational decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal; must adapt communication style to interact effectively with associates at all levels.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work overtime, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficient in English;
  Spanish communication skills a plus.
