Quality Inspector

• Perform receiving inspection
• Perform appropriate transactions in internal systems
• Perform in-process inspections as required
• Perform final QA Audit of product as needed
• Knowledge of the use of hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Maintain receiving inspection files
• Pull prints from files or electronic database
• Interpret prints for measuring parts
• Interface with Purchasing, Engineering and Shipping/Receiving departments
• Be flexible in schedule and available for Saturdays and overtime as needed
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years in engineering, manufacturing, QA inspection and test
• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

• Knowledge and use of basic hand tools and measuring tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and follow written or verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Position requires extensive sitting and/or standing and good eye-hand coordination
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

• Ability to read small text and handwriting
• Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks
• Frequently required to stand
• The employee must be able to visually examine parts and documents
• The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 USD (Annually)

Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
