Shift: Second 3PM – 12AM

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Lead second-shift operations for final dimensioning, packaging, and shipping of bar, rod, and wire products. Oversee personnel, production scheduling, purchasing, freight, and loading while maintaining a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong floor presence and decision‑making ability during off‑shift operations.

• Enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards for all employees/contractors.
• Verify product meets customer specs; determine proper disposition.
• Plan and execute second‑shift production to meet delivery and quality goals.
• Maximize yield, control cost, and conduct Root Cause Analysis on process issues.
• Review shift reports; address maintenance or operational problems proactively.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members; manage performance and attendance.
• Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in safe working condition.

• High school diploma required; AS/BS in Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of front‑line supervisory experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Stainless steel or specialty alloys experience preferred.
• Hands‑on familiarity with forklifts, bandsaws, straighteners, and similar machinery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
