- Organize and oversee activities related to the manufacturing of tablets and capsules, including delivery and in-process samples on a defined schedule.
- Review and compile documents generated during production of tablets and capsules (e.g., Batch Manufacturing Record, PQ protocol).
- Perform SAP entry during and after batch production.
- Create equipment part lists and assist the supervisor with ordering parts.
- Assign work to operators according to the product schedule.
- Manage transfer requests of product material batches between warehouse and Manufacturing.
- Update attendance and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and performance expectations in manufacturing operations.
- Review batch records after finishing each step for correctness.
- Provide day-to-day production support to operators, including troubleshooting and related tasks.
- Ensure correctness of product log-in and yield with BMR correctness online.
- Schedule cleaning validation with requests as required for equipment.
- Work with Integrated Product Development (IPD)/R&D on execution of bio-batches, including ANDA validation batches.
- Support the supervisor in day-to-day activities to achieve productivity and compliance.
- Coordinate implementation of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and safety practices in operations and manufacturing of products.
- Maintain a clean working environment and collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor to drive operational excellence and site quality.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum three years of direct experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Preference for candidates with experience in generic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Legible handwriting and accurate documentation.
- Understanding of granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot, investigate, and perform root cause analysis.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and work under tight schedules and deadlines.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills; ability to apply scientific principles.
- Clear communication across levels, both orally and in writing; strong written and verbal English.
- No restrictions working with powders containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/bending; long periods of standing/walking; ability to ascend/descend ladders; ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to move pallets/equipment weighing 200–300 kg using pallet jacks or similar equipment.
