Batch Operator - 3rd Shift

Baldwin Richardson Foods is focused on enriching the flavor of life. This role is located at our Macedon, NY facility and works across many departments to gain a broad understanding of the BRF production processes.

• Batch food product in accordance with Cook Cards and process instructions.
• Lifts and pours ingredients and raw materials into kettles and processing equipment for the line.
• Verifies that all materials used are correct for product being produced by checking Cook Cards.
• Sets up equipment for processing operations according to product specifications.
• Assists in cleaning kettles and batch systems, including pumps, utensils, and general area cleaning.
• Completes all required batch paperwork accurately.
• Adheres to safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and maintains food safety standards.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate a forklift (prior experience preferred) and complete the internal certification program.
• Ability to effectively read cook cards, which are written in English, and complete batch paperwork.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mathematical competencies including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication of fractions and whole numbers, and converting units of measurement.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with fluctuations in heat, moisture, and noise.
• Wear Food Manufacturing GMP Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – hard hat, hairnet, steel toe shoes/boots, and face mask.
• Display the ability to multi‑task and perform essential job duties with a sense of urgency.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (required by SQF regulations).

This position is a full‑time, salaried role with potential rotating weekend overtime.
