General Summary

Assemble, configure, laser mark, or fabricate wiring and/or mechanical parts, metals, fabrics, plastics, and pieces or products using various tools and equipment according to blueprints, layouts, and component overviews in specific production line areas. Set up and operate PCBA equipment and test equipment following IPC standards.

  • All Level 2 duties plus additional responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with support teams on new product introductions.
  • Make recommendations to improve test efficiency.
  • Operate testing equipment such as signal generators and multimeters.
  • Read drawings to assemble and wire custom cabinets.
  • Understand outbound configurations for DM.
  • Confirm and MIGO material to storage locations based on production orders.
  • Possess working knowledge of low voltage systems, including application, compatibility, and testing procedures.
  • Test assembled products to ensure performance standards.
  • Demonstrate competence with various electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Set up machines, including running daily calibration.
  • Replenish exhausted components and verify shortages/substitutions.
  • Operate Pick and Place machines, specifically Panasonic.
  • Verify mix correctness.
  • Operate FCT Test and IT equipment.
  • Receive components from the Prep Department.
  • Organize jobs based on setup sheets from programmers.
  • Perform repairs on various electronic circuit boards.
  • Load ICT programs.
  • Require 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Job Specifications
  • Experience with electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly and measurements.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, hand tools, electrical assembly.
  • Test system performance under specified conditions.
  • Record test data daily and submit to supervisors.
  • Ability to distinguish subtle color differences.
  • Perform moderately complex work requiring critical thinking.
  • Complete daily packing and shipping goals timely.
  • Accurately record product information and movements using scanning/tracking systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Willingness to learn and train on various equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license for PIT vehicle operation.
  • Perform quality inspections for materials per orders.
  • Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Participate in daily safety huddles.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Cross-train across production cells.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Basic computer navigation skills.
Working Conditions
  • First shift (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) or second shift (5:00 pm to 1:30 am).
  • No travel required.
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, bending for up to 12 hours.
  • Wearing ESD jackets, wrist guards, and protective eyewear.
  • High-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Repetitive motion involved.
  • Handling packages weighing up to 40 lbs, with assistance for heavier objects.
