TCW Trends, Inc. is a dynamic apparel company specializing in high-quality import production. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Apparel Production Coordinator to join our New York team; this role plays a key part in ensuring our production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

As the Apparel Production Coordinator
, you’ll manage and oversee all aspects of the production cycle, working closely with customers, vendors, factories, and internal teams to deliver exceptional products on schedule. This role requires a strong understanding of apparel production and exceptional communication skills in both English and Chinese to collaborate effectively with international partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers and overseas factories to finalize designs, negotiate costs, and confirm production details.
  • Develop and manage production calendars (T&A reports), ensuring deadlines are met and potential delays are proactively addressed.
  • Review tech packs and purchase orders for accuracy before forwarding to overseas offices/factories.
  • Review production samples—fabric, lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and accessories—for quality and compliance.
  • Enter and maintain production data, including orders, inventory, and shipping details, within internal systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding production updates, shipping status, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with overseas partners to resolve production issues and maintain clear, consistent communication.
  • Coordinate with internal logistics and warehouse teams to ensure on‑time, accurate deliveries.
  • Have knowledge of lab testing requirements and reports.
  • Track and verify shipping reports, invoices, and courier deliveries to maintain organized records.
  • Participate in pre‑production and production meetings, providing detailed reports and updates.
  • Support management and perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education:

    AA or BS/BA degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience:

    Prior experience in apparel production, ideally with woven and knitwear categories.
  • Working knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment testing requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
  • Fluent in spoken Chinese and English to effectively communicate with overseas factories and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
