Component Preparation Helper Shipping

Essential Duties / Requirements

• Manually perform any combination of the following repetitive tasks involving counting, sorting, preparing and packaging of small lightweight (0lbs. to 3lbs.) component parts or instructions sheets into plastic part bags or boxes.
• Lifting full product trays from stand to place on a pushcart and then transport via cart to shelf.
• Employee may also be required to perform other job-related duties as deemed necessary by management (unless medically restricted and certified.)

Physical Requirements:

• Able to sit for long periods of time.
• Picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm.
• Grasping:
  Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
• The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Pushing (using upper extremities to press against pushcart to thrust forward).
• Lifting from lower to higher position up to a maximum of 38 pounds (with the assistance of a co-worker.)
  *** Lifting up to a maximum of 18 pounds is performed without assistance of a co-worker.

Rate of Pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $16.50 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day.

Status: Full-time/regular (40 hours per week)/Monday-Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm)
