Our prefab shop is where ideas become reality, and we’re looking for a Construction Engineer to help bridge create drawings, materials, and establish job packs to ensure a smooth shop execution. ABOUTTHE ROLE
The Manufacturing Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prefab shop operations. This role is heavily focused on reviewing and creating fabrication sheets, preparing accurate material take-offs, and coordinating with shop leads to ensure production runs smoothly and projects stay on schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Create, review and interpret fabrication sheets, drawings, and shop details
- Perform detailed and accurate material take-offs to support procurement and production
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and shop leads to ensure drawings translate into efficient workflows
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between design documents and fabrication requirements
- Support inventory planning, procurement, and staging of materials for production
- Continue the development of shop standards for documentation, cut lists, and fabrication sheets
- Education:
Bachelor’s in Construction or Civil Engineering (or related). - Experience:
1–3+ years in construction, prefab, or manufacturing (shop/field). - Skills:
- Strong drawing and document interpretation.
- Material take-offs and estimating experience.
- Familiarity with lean construction, prefab methods a plus.
- CAD/BIM proficiency preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
