Painter

Sports field Specialties is seeking a hands‑on Painter to join our production team at our NY2 location in Delhi, NY. This role will be scheduled for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible with scheduling, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Candidate must be willing to train on the 1st shift schedule before transitioning to the 2nd shift schedule.

• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain and operate powder coat equipment and spray booth as needed.
• Sand, polish, wash, dry and apply powder coat to products specifications.
• Operate ovens and measure/monitor temperatures per product specifications.
• Operate lift trucks and overhead cranes to move paint carts and supplies.
• Weigh paint for accurate costing.
• Become efficient with painting techniques to meet quality and efficiency needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to use and operate power tools, ladders, and warehouse equipment safely.

Experience/

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 2:30pm to 1:00am (10‑hour shift).

Starting pay: $19/hour, the starting pay indicated represents the minimum pay for the position. The starting pay may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity. The posted starting pay reflects just one component of our total benefit/rewards package.
