Bechtel’s Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. In this role, you will oversee batch plant operations supporting project concrete construction. Responsibilities include batch plant setup, concrete production, production scheduling, raw material inventory management, equipment maintenance coordination, quality control processes, and aggregate receiving and conveying operations.

The Batch Plant Coordinator reports to the Concrete Manager and works closely with the Lead Concrete Superintendent, Lead Concrete Field Engineer, subcontractors, Procurement, Safety, Environmental, and construction teams to support project objectives. Responsible for ensuring batch plant production capacity, material availability, and operational readiness are maintained to support project concrete placement activities. Safety is a Value and is expected to be integrated into every aspect of planning and execution.

• Oversight for batch plant setup(s), commissioning, operation, maintenance, and production activities.
• Establishes and maintains production schedules, aggregate deliveries, and material handling activities to support project concrete demands.
• Coordinates aggregate unloading and operations systems, material storage areas, and associated equipment.
• Coordinates inventory control, material deliveries, and consumption tracking for concrete raw materials and associated consumables.
• Monitors production performance, equipment utilization, maintenance activities, and operational efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with approved mix designs, batching procedures, quality requirements, batch testing programs, and production specifications.
